I think the swelling has finally started reversing. In the last few minutes it feels like the pressure on my face isn't as bad as it was. Still looks pretty swollen, but it's starting to feel better. Still can't bite down too hard though or I get a shooting pain thru my jaw, but I'm sure as the swelling keeps going down, that will go away too.

He prescribed percocets and gave me a note for my boss to have tomorrow off. It's been a long time since I got a note from the doctor to miss school :lol:

The saddle is supposed to be bone, but, looks like plastic to me. It's breaking apart.B string is especially bad. The others have indentions in them (not supposed to be any) No biggie. I'm going to replace it along with the pins, and maybe the nut. Tusq ones, just not sure if I want black or white yet.

At any rate, Tusq sells a saddle either black or white that is very, very close to actual size. Will need some minor sanding to fit properly.

No doubt. I knew it was cheap. Bought it so I wouldn't have to fly with a guitar every two weeks. Read up on this one, and vast majority of reviews were good to great for cheap guitars. Most important to me was that it stays in tune (which it does). I could have just got one with a bad saddle. Again, no biggie, new saddle is like $13 usd. Even if I replace the saddle, nut, and pins, I'll still be less than $200 for this one, and have no qualms whatsoever of taking it out around the campfires, or flopping around in my truck. :lol:

Other than that, the guitar actually has a great sound (not just to me, but to my brother in law and my buddy who have both played for over 20 years) Gets loud real fast if you get heavy on the strumming. No as much sustain as my Yamaha, but again, it's a cheap POS. :lol:

Yep, I'm trying to keep my cool at work. The bosses decision to move a tech to my side of the shop has been implemented and as predicted it has caused a clusterfuck.

A little bit of both, I think the guy that they moved next to me (My buddy) is serious about finding another job and is going to quit.

What happened in the move is he got cut from 4 to 3 bays, I got cut from 4 to 3 bays and the painters got cut 3 bays they all shared to keep cars out of the aisle so they don't have to play musical cars everytime they need to make a move.

All to add one apprentice who now gets 4 extra bays to share with his tech. There is so much wasted space on the other sidfe of the shop it could have been accomplished without fucking over 5 techs and painters. The other side has an old alignment rack piled with shit that needs to be removed, the Foreman has his own Chevelle taking up a lift long term and there is another spot just piled with junk.

Yep, I explained in small words that they are taking space away currently used for production when there is wasted space that should be used for it. It's going to hurt the production of 5 employees to make room for one apprentice and they expect an increase in profit??

Can't afford to miss any time and we are so fucking busy it's just insane right now. I am so far behind on everything. If I stay in my office and work on paperwork, the parts on the floor don't get done, and when I am out on the shop floor, the paperwork backs up.

It will go well, have faith. Now I can tell you what I did on Tuesday as a preventative measure for a root canal (probably will still need one)

They cut my gums on both sides, then used a machine to go up 10 mm into my gumline, at the roots of two live teeth. I had 3 shots of freezing and the pain was incredible with each movement of the machine on the roots of my teeth. I have a gold crown on one of them and a bit of the tooth underneath is exposed, causing all sorts of pain through my teeth and the tendon that leads to the back of my mouth.

3 days later and I still can't close my mouth or eat solid food because of the invasive nature of the process. My dentist was freaking because I could feel everything he was doing, which is part of my ongoing problems where freezing doesn't affect the correct portions of my nerves and muscles. Think Marathon Man and that's close :lol: :lol:

He thinks either the activity on the roots of my teeth will 'kill them', meaning I'll need root canals immediately...or pain will actually lesson.

I took a percocet the other night and my entire jaw relaxed...no tooth pain, no jaw pain, no random nerve shooting pains....and it was fucking heaven. I almost ejaculated....and that's how I remember my mouth used to feel on a normal day...it just worked with no pain issues.

Good luck mon frere and I want you to think about this post later today while he's grinding out your canals...remember, it can always be worse and you could be feeling every drill stroke during your process....I had that once during a 4 canal root canal. I proved to the dentist which canal he was in during the process and he flipped out :lol:

It wasn't too bad last night after the Novocaine wore off, but it's sore this morning. And since I'm allergic to anything narcotic based, I'm stuck with Ibuprofen. The dentist did give me a prescription for the 800mg pills though. Just took my first one, so we'll see if it helps.

Me too, but I'd settle for one. I got into another computer project yesterday and want to keep moving forward on it. It's a inspiron 15" laptop, the former owner was having bluescreen issues, set it on the floor and went to bed. woke up, jumped out of bed and landed on it.
He gave it to me for parts.
Being a core I5 with 6 gigs RAM I think it's worth fixing, I can get a screen for $50 but then have to address the BSOD, I'm hoping it's software and not hardware so I don't end up wasting the $50 or more money for parts.

I lost my first game of the season at the darts last night :( At least there was no pain in my arm though......... should've won the match tbh, played really well but just missed a few darts at double! Trust me to get drawn out against one of the best players in the league when i've had zero practice for 2 weeks :x

Just had a good laugh there, phoned my mate in the parts department at Peugeot to get some info (alternator in my car is fooked), part number and amp-age - got him to price me a genuine unit just to see what it would be......... over £300 :mrgreen: I laughed down the phone at him :lol: I can get a good one from one of the motor factors for around £100 but gonna see if i can pick up a reconditioned one for a lot less :thumbsup: Not in a major rush so i can afford to shop around :)
