That interview that didn't go so well week before last. The guy wants a second interview. I'm kind of shocked. He was super harsh with me, grilled me and made me feel unprepared. He was also just a terrible interviewer who asked stupid questions

I don't know that it's the right fit for me for a few reasons. The main one being the size of this place.

There's very little room to move upwards in this little place and I'm not going to stay in an entry level position for years.

The other reason is that my gut tells me not to work for this guy... he's kind of a little twat, successful as he obvious is.

The thing is, I'm confident I can get a job in banking relatively quickly... I'm just exploring insurance to figure out of it's something I'd be interesting in doing

There are benifits and drawbacks to both...

You could work in a bank you're entire life... you're never going to own one, and you'll never make much money unless you go into a commission job. But there is a long way up to go, you can transfer and try many different things.

Insurance has huge potential. Lot of older people going to be retiring with the baby-boomers and there's room to own and make a great living. But it's going to stick you in a tiny office with the same co-workers every day for years and years. Sounds a lot more boring

My doctor makes me get my blood drawn once every 3 months, so if she's there I'll see her again.

And I've dated women with kids before. I ended up loving the kids but despising the mothers. They've always been really depressing.

The sad part is that one of the people in the conflict is a really attractive, young, smart and funny employee in our company.She came up here and worked on a project for a client and I was immediately impressed..we got along very well.

In email communications however she tends to cover for her employees and speak down to our group (she's an account manager)

I had to tear her a new one and I know that won't sit well with her personally...she's too strong willed.
