I've looked for over 100000 dollars worth of stock today (no exaggeration) only to find out that this happened, or that happened...

I finally had him come in here, asked WTF and said to him to communicate a little or his holiday will be cut short by my termination......

he knows it ain't right and apologies at this point don't help

The S.O. and I are both still sick a week later. :| We finally went to a quick care last night. Sinus infections & bronchitis X2. The nurse practitioner said I clearly got it first because mine was worse and more progressed.

I tried to blame the cat for bringing her infected feral alley friends over while we are at work; that argument didn't fly. :lol:

So quick care + inhalers + antibiotics + sinus sprays X2 = $270. It's great to be insured! :| Hope it helps anyway. I crashed at 9:00. I never do that.

Basically crappy....having Monday off just throws the whole week into chaos, feels like we are behind on everything. Plus I haven't seemed to have much motivation this week :|

Not bad. I worked Monday and took Tuesday off, but ended up spending 2 hours working Tuesday afternoon.

It has happened several times before...

Me: "I found a rather large technical problem with X, and here's why it's a problem, please look at this ASAP"
Support: "there's not a problem, you are incorrect"
Me: *sigh* *writes detailed explanation with instructions and examples of the issue* *sends*
Support: The change was configured incorrectly and we fixed it!

Well I am glad you feel good about your ability to identify problems and resolve them. :facepalm:

But other than that, the GF was in court yesterday. She was annoyed with me for pushing her to get everything resolved before the hearing. When everyone else was getting fines and continuances, she walked up and the states attorney said, "the defendant resolved all issues prior to court, we recommend dismissing the charges." She was a happy camper.

My genius is SOOO under-appreciated. :P

Yeah, I know how it feels working during off time. Pretty much one of the reasons I rarely take time off. When I do take a day off, I get 9845793472 texts and about half as many phone calls from the shop. :|

A typical phone call will go something like:

Shop: Hey, do you know where 'Customer X' parts are? I can't find them.

Me: :-s You're at the shop, not me, how am I supposed to know where they are?

Shop: But I can't find them

We usually just get irate customer phone calls or nasty-grams from management....our shipper just recently got written up for making a one digit mistake shipping on an order. He physically has to ship over 300 orders per day, various couriers, across Canada and the States. Then he has to go back into our system and do release shipping, which is a clerical step to reflect all of his physical shipments with a cost.

The area where the courier shipping system is sitting has no overhead light....it's literally darkest Africa over there....and he gets tagged with a permanent write up because he placed 66 for a house number rather than 68....(MINOR beans in the scope of daily work we do).

Not to change the subject, but did you see the announcement that next season of Falling Skies will be it's last and final season. Only a 10 episode season too, instead of the normal 13 eps.

Don't i know it :lol: This weekend will disappear in a heartbeat, i'm playing in a mixed pairs bowls competition this weekend (if you win your games on saturday you're back on sunday) so there's every chance that will be my weekend fully taken up! Last comp of the season though, the green officially closes next saturday and that'll be it for another year :)
