yesterday at work there were about 5 or 6 pallets with crap on them lined up beside a rack...one of the brown guys driving a lift crashed into them, driving them into my leg about 20 feet away and pinned me between the pallets and another forklift...then he laughed...

so my boss took him outside, then I took him outside.....and then on the way home from work some guy almost creamed my car...and then another bad night at home with my Ma....long story but she wandered down the block after huge arguments with me and my Dad...took her oxygen off and I had to go get her.....4 inches of snow and it was cold, her in her slippers and sweater...


it was one of the shittiest days on record for me so yes, the alcohol will flow freely tomorrow night

Part of the reason I quit my job was to help out my Dad with looking after her, now I don't even get one day to try :| So, as with most things in life, the timing is horrible...

I was just outside with my sis and said that there could be a whole different reason for her visiting right now (death or illness) and she looked at me through tears and told me that my heart never lies, no matter how tough the situation :(

Gonna be tough for sure buddy, pretty sure most of have never had to face a situation like this so not like we can offer any solid advice........ all we can say is that we'll always be here with an ear if you need it :thumbsup: I think it's sometimes easier to speak/type openly to the guys here than it is in real life, you can pretty much say exactly what you need to say without any interruptions......... plus we have a great bunch of regulars here who i consider all as my friends.

My heart goes out to you T, i love my mum with all my heart and i've been through a few things with her (she's had some problems) but i can't fully imagine how tough this is for you. I've seen dementia with my mate's dad and with my boss's mum and i found it emotional just talking with them during the initial stages of the disease.

Sorry, i'm probably not helping......... just know i'm thinking about you mate - you know where we are if/when you need us :thumbsup:

I answered an ad on craigslist two weeks ago for a carpet cleaner for parts, the guy never replied to my email. I figured he had sold it and just never took the ad down. Now he has updated the ad as of yesterday. How the fuck do you expect to sell it if you don't answer??

Stopped and got it on the way home. Bissell Proheat Plus carpet cleaner with all the attachments. $25

Got it home, took it apart cleaned it, removed the soap clog from the heater assy. and had it back together and running in a bit over an hour.
