Well, that's the quickest bowls match i've ever played.......... singles final, first to 21 shots........ i won 21 - 1 :oops: Kinda felt sorry for my opponent but it's a final after all, not like i can give away free chances :lol:

So that's 2 winners trophies and one runners-up (1st loser) trophy in the bag with 3 more finals to play :mrgreen: Pairs final with my dad tomorrow night!

Just a strange game tbh, i could hardly do anything wrong......... my 'bad' bowls were finishing within a couple of foot of the white/jack, his bad bowls were a couple of yards away. He's a league skip for us (as am i) but i was always expected to beat him tbh........ just not beat him that badly! I may have a reprieve from working tomorrow morning, was meant to be a job coming in this afternoon that was needed for tomorrow but the customer has just phoned and cancelled........ the majority of work thats left over is painwork/polishing. Been a long week between work and bowls, 12 hrs OT up til now plus bowling every night except monday (playing tonight as well). Still, shouldnt complain, extra money for the OT plus 3 trophy wins in a row equals a good (albeit tiring) week :tup: Playing in a competition this weekend too, its a 2 day comp, if you qualify on sat then you go back on sun for qtrs, semi and final. Thankfully we've been drawn in the afternoon session for once :lol:
