Did a little job for a neighbour tonight, he'd hit a pheasant with his Land Rover, knocked out the bumper foglamp/holder and split the wing liner. Had to take the bumper off, bonded the holder back onto the bumper (they're originally melted/fused together at the factory) and plastic welded his wing liner back together. Took me not much longer than an hour, asked for £20 and got £40 plus a case of cider, result! :lol:

He adjusted my bite because it's changed since I quit smoking. My face is swollen like there's dental freezing in there because the muscles have been in trauma for about 15 years. Every bite causes muscle or tooth pain.

Then he finds this spot up above a tooth that kills when he's in there probing and I'm thinking...oh great, now I have to got to periodontist where they cut your gums and do deep cleaning on the roots of your teeth. I've had that in one area before (real minor) and it killed.

He says - Your gum has receded, there's a shelf under the gumline where the root is partially exposed. I need to cut your gum a little, put in something like a veneer (filling material), then that should stop the reactions. I just got home, put floss up there and it almost goes into my brain because of the recession. Rinse with blue Listerine and now everywhere under my gumline in that general area feels like it's on fire....inside. Fuck me...I use floss and dental rinse and feel like someone lit a match inside my tooth, it ain't fair.

Anywho, hopefully this new brutal process eliminates one type of pain :)

I saved him quite a bit of money actually.......... for starters the wing liner should've been replaced, i wouldn't have repaired it for anyone else. Would probably have quoted around £80 plus parts (probably £30 or £40 for a new liner) to do it as a regular job at work and he obviously appreciated that fact ;)

yes I likely won't ever have a job again with 5 weeks holidays (it takes forever in North America to earn even 3 weeks..) so I'm trying to use the time effectively.

You end up getting lazy though with each subsequent week off. I've never been off work this long since I was 19, so I find the world really slows down and you look at things differently.

I remember looking forward to holidays from my last job like they were 10 blowjobs for every day off. I'd have the holiday, wonder why work upset me so much when I was off, then when I'd get back I'd remember why I hated my job within 15 minutes of being back :lol:
