If you can get a set of them for $100, that is way cheaper than we could make a pair of them for. You'd be looking at close to $1000 to make a pair of them by the time the reverse engineering, programming, manufacturing was done. And it would be even more than that if we need to send them out to get the teeth cut in them.

No idea, but I do know that getting molds made to cast parts is uber expensive. The best bet would probably be to have them reverse engineered by someone locally and then have them 3D printed, would be way cheaper in the long run and with the materials they can do the 3D printing put of, I'm sure they could find something comparable to aluminum.
