No, not so much fixed as more antiquated. I'll try and condense :lol:

The president is elected by the votes from the Electoral College. Every state has a certain number of electoral votes based on the population of the state. Huge states like California have a large amount (California alone has 55 electoral votes which is 20% of the total votes needed to become president), while small states like Maine have 3 electoral votes. Now all a candidate needs to do is win a state by one vote in the actual popular vote and they get all that state's electoral votes. So, with a state like California, the democrat is 99.99% of the time going to win that state because of how liberal it is, so Clinton will automatically start with a 55 vote head start on the way to the needed 270 votes to win the presidency. Even though 10 million people in that state may have voted for Trump, if 10,000,001 people vote for Clinton, she gets all 55 votes.

That's what I guess for believing the polls. He won states that they said he had no chance of winning. Everyone was predicting an electoral landslide for Clinton. In fact, after the rest of the votes are counted, it may indeed still be a landslide....for Trump.

I fucking hate sitting in those shitty little plastic seats at the footy, very uncomfortable plus you end up cold as fuck (since footy over here is played right through the winter months). After the Hillsborough disaster in '89 (i was actually at the Rangers vs Saints cup semi-final that day, we heard the news on the wireless in the bus afterwards) terracing was effectively banned from top-flight football in the UK....... even although the disaster was nothing to do with Hillsborough being terraced, rather down to the ineptitude of the head Policeman on duty that day :|

The last footy match i was at was Scotland vs Czech Republic about 5 or 6 years ago i think......... Hampden's a shitehole anyway, who the fuck has a running track in their national footy stadium? :| Kills the atmosphere because you're not right on top of the pitch. Also, it's 3 miles from Glasgow city centre and a bastard to get out of after games. I'd prefer the games to be played at Ibrox (Rangers stadium), Murrayfield (national rugby stadium) or even Parkhead (where the scum play).

There has been talk of safe standing areas being introduced (the big German stadiums have these and can use them for domestic matches, atmospheres are amazing especially at the Westfahlen, Dortmunds ground) and i believe Celtic are going to be trialing it :)

I remember going to Muirton Park (St Johnstone's old ground) when i was a kid, once you were in the stadium you could pretty much stand wherever you liked and walk from one end of the park to the other, great times! Plus, the pies were awesome back then at Muirton, Montgomery's the baker, sadly closed down many years ago :rip: Most other big stadiums at the time had segregation to stop opposing fans from fighting each other :lol: There was a fair bit of violence at the footy back in the 70s and 80s, never really saw much of it myself (was probably too young tbh).
