First, couldn't get to sleep all night long, tossed an turned and couldn't fall asleep. That is until it was time for the alarm to go off. Somehow, I slept thru it which should be impossible because it's loud enough and if it didn't wake me up, it should have woke the wife up. So now I'm running late. Get to the on ramp for the highway, and it's closed due to construction. Go all the way around to the next on ramp which loses me even more time. Get to the road to turn down to go to the shop...and it's closed for construction too and I have to go all the way around losing even more time.

Well, i'm glad we went down to Ayr yesterday and not today, pissing down with rain today! Had a great day, crackin' sunny day (me and dad both got sunburnt lol), my mate won his first match but unfortunately lost his second. The 4s team from Bankfoot (about 6 miles away from me) got through to the semi-finals which is played this morning! Long day though, about 2hrs drive there and same again back obviously. Got back into Perth around 9pm, grabbed a fish supper then went home, ate that then collapsed :lol:

I was trying to upgrade one of the older PC's here, got a new PSU, graphics card, and floppy drive (some of the CNC machines unfortunately still need floppies). Put everything in and only the PSU works. The floppy drive won't work and the new graphics card won't work and I have no idea why. Had to pull the graphics card out and get the PC back online so it can be used this morning.

I was there for a conference on adolescent brain development. That aside, lot's of bike riding, water-related. Love your summer, a bit too humid, but still good, much more palatable than Aussie summer.

I was in a pretty wealthy enclave in WV, but still never had a bad experience riding around the countryside and local towns in what is a pretty poor state. Your cars are far too big, but always a friendly wave as they overtake.

United was great. Super schmick planes and well organized and helpful. the staff were a bit jaded on the first flight Melb to LA, maybe they were tired...but really nice thereafter.
