The battery drains a little faster now, especially with heavier use, but it's still pretty good. I can get about a full day, give or take, on one charge if I'm using it pretty heavily. But after 2 years the battery is still pretty decent.

I think you'll really like it, like I said, best phone I've ever had. This is the first time I can remember having my phone paid off and not wanting to upgrade to something newer. Everything is going to be going to a USB-C, it's faster and it goes in the port either way. :dunno:

We have to have WiFi at the shop because there's a CNC machine hooked up to the network plus a few laptops used for programming on the network.

Yeah, but it generally costs a lot more. My current plan is 12gb per month (which has always been plenty), going to unlimited would be an extra £10 PM or so while dropping to 2gb would save me £7 iirc.

At the old shop the 2gb plan was plenty for me given that most of my data usage comes while at work :lol:

On our family plan, it's $100/month for 3 lines and unlimited data on each line as well as unlimited talk and text. And for streaming music apps, it doesn't count towards our data usage, so I stream music through my phone to play in my truck (my truck radio is bluetooth so I can play it right through my truck radio).

Before getting my new phone, my old contract was only £12PM for unlimited texts and calls plus 12gb data - up to £30 now but obviously thats purely to offset the cost of the new phone itself, tied to a 2 year contract with option to upgrade again after 18 months iirc

Seems great so far, only slight issue i have is when typing i seem to press the wrong buttons quite often :lol: Im guessing its just muscle memory as the keypad will be slightly bigger now :-k Not a major issue, i just have to proofread more thoroughly before posting/sending texts :lol:

Other than that its great, nice and snappy plus the battery easily lasts all day even with quite heavy usage :ok:

On the S8 how do you clear notifications from apps? On my old phone you just press and hold the app then a menu pops up with "clear badge" on it...... that option's not there on this :-k

If you like to customize the way your phone looks, like with different icons, layouts, the way your phone acts, Nova gives you a crap ton more control over everything versus the limited options with the Samsung launcher. From lock screens and your home screen and layouts, etc.

Rotors are much thinner and lighter than they used to be. They need to be replaced with every brake job on most cars these days, no more turning to resurface, there's simply not enough metal there to keep them "true". On the up side, typically they are much cheaper to replace than they used to be.
