They mark it way up on purpose because they know you have no choice. At least at the Nationals, there are different boots that you can get beer from and they are all run by different organizations. SO you can pick one you kinda like and buy the beer there so at least that huge profit goes towards a cause (like preventing animal cruelty for example).

I think when we were going to Montreal all the time to get drunk and go to the stripper bars, Canadian beer was $5 CAN and at the time there was a huge exchange rate between the US dollar and the Canadian dollar, so it was actually pretty cheap for us :dance:

You don't really have to go to Imgur, only giphy.

For instance if you do a random search for 'Tarzan gifs' and then hit images search, the results are usually posted directly from the giphy site if they're hosted there.

So then I just clicked on the gif itself, it goes to giphy and then you get that host of options I mentioned (media/copy links) which are essentially just URL addresses.

Yeah the right clicker is easier for sure :thumbsup: But at least we now have a backup method if extensions are not available. And I swear if you don't answer that question initially you don't get the options menu. The extension actually says now - options, more options :thumbsup:

The initial process is a little confusing and that's a hook. Almost to the point where it could stop other people from using the extension.

After install you go into your FF options/extensions and it's sitting there listed. But no icon at the top of the browser and no functionality anywhere.

You'll get one single notification if someone tags you in a post. I've just tweaked the settings as it was pinging notification when someone quoted your post - that's now fixed. Don't worry, i'll remember not to tag old grumpy Canadians in any of my posts :P

There's a reason I don't have data on my phone. Because I only need to hear it ring for calls or ping for texts. This world is a cacophony of notifications and I don't need that here.

Sorry i disagree, you can completely ignore the notifications if you choose, in the same way you don't have to answer a phone call or reply to a text.

Having internet on my phone has bailed me out of the crap at work on multiple occasions - looking up youtube instructional videos to figure out how a certain vehicles door handle is removed etc.

I like to stay up to date as much as possible with new tech tbh - knowledge is power.

Sorry to shit on your new thing :lol: but here's why I disagree. I didn't have a pop up box set for new notifications. So when someone pm'ed me I'd see it under the notifications word at the top right saying I have one.

Since that sort of alert doesn't discriminate, technically all day long you would keep seeing just "2 new notifications" "3 new notifications" etc which would make you have to look and address them.

Sure you're right. You could avoid them. But can a person (you) honestly ignore a compounding list of notifications all day long on any platform?
