:Morning: Good Morning MrsM and others who are still around...just looking in for one last fix before I go on with my day. A funeral at 2pm (old family friend in her mid 90's - she was an old lady when I was kid!). One of those people you could imagine homesteading on the prairies...she came from Saskatchewan.

When all my family had the flu, she came in and got us well with some old folk remedies. I've got to honour that and showing up at her funeral is the least I can do. Stopped visiting her about 7 years ago - when I visited all she wanted to do was talk of my parents and "wasn't it a pity how your parents are gone" etc...it got too much. So I'm a bit guilty for not visiting often.

But the we pack for a bit of camping until Monday afternoon, so that'll be nice. Pit toilets, and no showers! Fun.

We have a relative exactly like that...Aunt Bernice.She's 94, always full of energy and such a strong spirit.She recently had a heart attack and my Dad's going out to Sask to see her this week.

Less stress is always good. I'm still cutting metal for the machine shop. On a small Jet bandsaw undersized for what we do with it, but it's all we have so I try to take good care of it. At least the machinists don't have to stop machining to cut metal to size because I do it for them.
